フランス人宣教師により東アフリカ地域に最初に持ち込まれたコーヒーは「フレンチミッション French Mission」と呼ばれ、そのフレンチミッションから選抜された品種が「SL-28」「SL-34」。特に「SL-28」はケニアのコーヒーで最も高品質と言われる品種の一つで、鮮やかな酸味、フローラルな甘さ、そしてカップの中に広がる柑橘系のフレーバーが特徴です。カシスやラズベリーを思わせる明るい風味、柑橘系のフレーバーと甘みが感じられるハイローストやシティローストでの焙煎をお勧めします。

The coffee beans that was first brought to East Africa by French missionaries is called "French Mission", and the varieties selected from "French Mission" are SL28 and SL34."SL28'' is particularly said to be one of the highest quality varieties in Kenya, and is characterized by bright acidity, floral sweetness, and a citrus flavor that spreads throughout the cup. We recommend roasting in High Roast or City Roast, where you can bright acidity reminiscent of cassis or raspberry, as well as citrus flavors and sweetness.
